Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how QR Parrot ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
QR codes are generated on your device
The information you enter to create a QR code — website links, contact details, WiFi credentials, text, and any logo you upload — is processed entirely within your browser. This content is not transmitted to, or stored on, our servers.
Information we collect
We do not require accounts and do not ask for personal information to use the generator. We collect standard, non-identifying analytics such as pages visited and general device type to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
Cookies and advertising
We display ads through Google AdSense to keep the tool free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
Third-party resources
The site loads web fonts and the QR-rendering library. When a resource is served from a content delivery network, that provider may receive standard request information such as your IP address, as is normal for any web resource.
Children's privacy
QR Parrot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
